Let me start this story with a brag: I’m seeing Beyoncé perform live at the end of July! [cue uncontrollable screaming] Naturally, I’ve been bouncing off the walls in anticipation, especially when Bey posts each Renaissance tour look, knowing I’ll be seeing them soon. Her latest look is not one she wore on stage, but I am loving every inch of it from her asymmetrical face-framing tendrils to the strappy sparkly heels on her feet.
The “I’m That Girl” singer shared an Instagram photoset of the look on June 29. In the first picture, she’s smiling with all her teeth in a two-piece Area denim set encrusted with gems, which I need to get my hands on. (Never mind: I just saw the price point, and my bank account brought me back to reality.) She paired her light denim outfit with black cat-eye sunglasses, her slightly-textured face-framing pieces, and a red lip.
Her blonde-highlighted hair was parted down the middle and styled into a twisted low bun, which you can see on the ninth slide. Her bright blonde face-framing tendrils, which fell toward her chest area, were almost completely straight except for the hair closest to the roots that looked like it had been crimped — perhaps it was just leftover texture from days-old curls?
She opted for a matte deep red lipstick that looked like the color of blood, and any other visible makeup she may have been wearing was covered by those shades. I also couldn’t help but notice her simple and surprisingly short manicure. They likely are her natural nails painted with silvery nail polish.
