In early 2017, photographer Feng Li and his wife discovered a tiny piglet at an airport, abandoned by a passenger. They named him Piggy Feng and welcomed him into their small city apartment. Despite their busy lives documenting China’s urban changes, they cherished Piggy’s growth from a fragile baby to a full-sized swine.

Published by Note Note Éditions, Pig reveals a more intimate and sensitive aspect of Feng Li’s work, chronicling his pig’s journey as it grows into an adult. Here, Feng shares images of their expanded family, including three cats, a parrot, and Piggy, all living together in one house. The photobook invites viewers to share their idyllic daily life through Feng Li’s eyes, portraying their close relationship with tenderness and irony.
