Last week, we were staring hard at Kim Kardashian‘s bob, trying to suss out whether it was truly a new haircut or just a wig. It turned out to be the latter, as evidenced by her subsequent posts on the grid, in which she had inches and inches of hair. In one of her latest posts, her dark brunette hair was flowing in the lightest waves towards her chest, but we were distracted by her 3D French manicure and the mystery nail charms on her tips.
Kardashian shared a lone selfie on July 31 with the caption, “practice what you post.” Her photo was giving me serious throwback vibes due to her pursed lips and her partial peace sign — duck lips with peace signs was the pose when I was in high school. Though you can’t see every finger, you can spot the chalk-white, C-curve French tip on her nails. Her long nails were filed into a coffin shape.
Like any traditional French manicure, most of her tips were covered with a sheer light-pink polish that mimics her natural nail color (Essie’s nail polish in the classic shade Ballet Slippers and OPI’s Nail Lacquer in Bubble Bath are both great nude bases for a French mani, by the way).
Unfortunately, because the photo is blurry, it’s hard to make out the 3D charm adhered to the middle of the nail on her ring finger. The decal seems to be white just like her tips and circular in shape.
