Khloé Kardashian, you sure fooled us! The reality star and Good American founder did not give in to the eternal temptation and cut bangs, but instead opted for a clip-in style — and she says the fresh fringe totally changed her appearance.
Kardashian rocked the bangs for her Sorbet photo shoot and told her Instagram followers that the clip-ins made her feel completely different. “Fun fact: I wore clip on bangs for this shoot. It was fun to give a different look and not be committed,” she wrote in her caption, paired with images from the shoot where she poses in a cropped white tank and gold paillette miniskirt. “I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face. Would you ever get bangs?” It’s true — Kardashian does look totally different; when images from the Sorbet shoot first surfaced, the internet didn’t waste a minute sharing their thoughts. Many thought Kardashian resembled Taylor Swift with the long bangs.
The Kardashians star initially debuted the bangs in mid-December, sharing what we now know was probably a behind-the-scenes snapshot from the photo shoot. (She does appear to be wearing the white tank.) The bangs were shaped by one of Kardashian’s go-to hairstylists, Andrew Fitzsimons, and they look so natural with her dark blonde hair that you would never know they’re clip-ins. They do change Kardashian’s appearance quite markedly, especially when paired with the long, tousled waves, but they were noticeably absent from the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party pics, so we should have known.
