Coinciding with his solo show, Metropolis: 36 Views of New York, Stipan Tadić is also presenting a series of 10 works on paper with James Fuentes on their online showcase platform. The works expand Stipan’s urban geographical language, sort of a urban explorer who is both an observer and active participant in the city. As the gallery notes, “Across acid-green skies and fluorescent bodega isles, Tadić’s New York is simultaneously otherworldly and familiar—an iconic American city rendered in a visual language all his own.” How true it is. —Evan Pricco
