One of the world’s most famous artists, Banksy, who recently released a series of images and photos from his stencils he painted in Borodyanka, Ukraine, has now teamed with Legacy of War Foundation for a screen print in an edition of 50 to help their support efforts for the ongoing war. “In Ukraine I saw a Legacy of War team sweep in and provide medical attention, heaters, fresh water and a friendly face to some very desperate people in a bombed out building,” Banksy said of his support. “They also lent me one of their ambulances to work from, which turned out to be extremely useful when an angry babushka found me painting on her building and called the Police. I feel the least I should do is raise enough money to replace the number plates on the ambulance I hotted up.”
Each print is signed and numbered from an edition of 50, they are limited to one per customer and cost £5000 (plus applicable taxes). Registration ends on Friday 16th December @ 12pm GMT.
