As we noted as part of our new year’s resolution for 2023, Juxtapoz has begun a new web series: A Portfolio. A simple explanation; just artists we have on our radar that we wanted to show to our readers, regardless of exhibition schedule or upcoming events. Today, we look at the exciting works of painter, Mikey Yates, who has an upcoming solo show at Taymour Grahne, London. The artist is currently based in Kansas City, born in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany and attended Colorado University.
