Portrait via Field Projects
As we mentioned the other day, as we kick off a new year, 2023, Juxtapoz has begun a new web series: A Portfolio. A simple explanation; just artists we have on our radar that we wanted to show to our readers, regardless of exhibition schedule or upcoming events. In lieu of Mar Figueroa’s solo show at Sean Horton, Two Tongues, we take a look at a selection of works from the Ecuadorian-born, NYC-based painter.
The artist attended the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI. She recently completed a residency at Field Projects, New York, NY, and is currently a resident artist at Silver Art Projects, New York, NY.
